We are currently operating out of our back yard. We have found benefits to this. Such as: we're there all the time in case someone stops in to see our inventory, easy access to a quick bite of nourishment, easy contact with other family members, the occasional quick dash in to cool off in the air conditioning, full closets for quick change of clothes in the ever-changing weather, and best of all . . . no overhead expenses! This will allow us to watch the economy and save up funds faster to purchase commercial property.

 

Once we have a retail site we will continue with our focus on perennials for shade and perennials that are deer resistant and fill out our selection of plants for sunny sites.

Annuals will also continue to be offered each Spring as we feel they are essential in any perennial garden for continuous color. Included will be vegetable starts as well as herbs and a few tropicals.  Beautiful pre-planted container gardens and hanging baskets are always a favorite and will also be for sale. Summer and Fall bulbs round out the overall selection of beauty to be added to any landscape.

 

Basic garden center items will be available as well as interesting garden-related items. All the elements needed to Help Gardeners Help Themselves such as containers, soils, mulches, and more will be available.

 

In the 'off-season' there will be seasonable items such as pumpkins, gourds & corn stalks, straw bales, Christmas trees & decorated wreaths.

 

Throughout the year we will provide opportunities to Help Gardeners Help Themselves through seminars and workshops.

 

Our innovative incentive programs will save our customers money. Every weekend (Friday, Saturday) something different will be specially priced. Our overstocked items will save customers money as well. Professional Landscapers will have their own price structure also.

 

The greatest asset of this business will be the catering to all levels of gardeners through respectful and knowledgeable sales staff, workshops and seminars. Each perennial plant purchased will include a growing sheet to help insure complete customer satisfaction.
